At HIP-Petrohemija, we believe a company’s success begins with the development of its people. That’s why we pay special attention to professional advancement, internal and external trainings, as well as knowledge transfer among colleagues. We foster a learning culture and know that investing in knowledge brings the greatest return.
From day one, our employees have the support of a mentor, clear goals, and opportunities to progress in line with their interests and ambitions. Whether you are at the start of your career or already experienced, you will have the chance to learn, grow, and contribute here.
We offer a comprehensive training system for all employee levels (from entry-level positions, specialists, and experts to managers at all levels).
In addition to professional/technical and legally required trainings, employees attend programs aimed at enhancing managerial and leadership skills, as well as conferences and seminars on topics important to the Company’s operations.
Professional Training
Development of professional knowledge and skills is carried out through:
- Technical training in specific business areas
- Training and licenses required by law
- Foreign language learning programs
Employees have opportunities to take part in international projects, seminars, and conferences on topics relevant to the Company’s business. To bring in global best practices and obtain international work licenses, we collaborate with lecturers and organizations who are experts in their fields.
Employee Development
First-Time Manager
“First-Time Manager” is a program designed for colleagues promoted to managerial roles without prior leadership experience. Its goal is to guide them through the transition and ensure a smooth assumption of the new role by providing the tools and skills needed for success. The program consists of four modules:
- Manager & HR
- Manager & Team (leading a team and independently leading others)
- Manager & Business (running the business)
- Personal development program
A key advantage of the program is that it includes a mentoring process (by a colleague or line manager), enabling knowledge and experience exchange and providing additional value to participants.
Commitment Academy
The goal of the “Academy” is to empower leaders and identify personal and team obstacles that slow down or destabilize team members’ commitment.
After the workshops, leaders should have a clear picture of their team profile – what drives them forward, what keeps them back, how to stay motivated.
