Raffinate 2 is a butene-butane gas mixture. It is flammable, colorless and with a weak aromatic smell. It is not corrosive.

USE

It is used as a raw material for various chemical products such as butene-1, polybutenes, alpha-polybutenes, maleic anhydride, methyl ethyl ketone and others.
It can also be used as energy fuel in industrial dryers, furnaces and boilers.
